The Hub Care Support franchise is becoming quite the extended family these days! Over the last two weeks, we’ve welcomed the very latest franchisee, Shahida, to the fold, taking the Hub network up to 14 locations with the addition of her new office in Birmingham West.
Shahida comes from a varied background, working in the NHS, private care, a local nursery, and being a very keen volunteer in her local community. She was first attracted to Hub Care Support due to her dedication to supporting individuals in care, and had witnessed first-hand the challenges faced by both carers and those receiving support. It was clear to her that carers deserved better pay and improved work-life balance, while service users needed more autonomy in choosing the right personal assistant (PA) at a time that suited them.

Shahida is pictured here with her husband Jimmy, an experienced support worker. He won’t be joining her in the business, but will be providing valuable support as she grows a business dedicated to making a real difference. Shahida is just finishing her training with the Hub team and is all set to launch her new business in March. She’s always been a very active part of her community and has already made some great contacts who are interested in what she can offer, so we’re sure she will get off to a fantastic start!

Shahida’s journey has been a long one, as she has been extremely thorough in carrying out her research. She first contacted me way back in January 2023 after submitting an enquiry through FranchiseLocal.
Back then, Hub Care Support was already a really strong opportunity with an excellent package to offer, but it has grown immeasurably since then. As more and more franchisees have joined, they have really perfected their training and support, as well as benefitted from all that experience and expertise.
